Nope, not posting our answers on this blog post, you gotta check out our videos for them! ;-)
Yup, you guessed it! This tag is based off various social media platforms. I saw this on a couple blogs and some BookTube channels too! It's short, fun, and easy!
I had to think about this ...
I couldn't choose so I have two different series.
Collide & Pulse by Gail McHugh and the Filthy Beautiful Series by Kendall Ryan.
Both are books that I saw pop up here and there when I was reading them but now I see them EVERYWHERE! Both are truly beautiful reads that I highly recommend!
MySpace - A book you don’t remember whether you liked or not.
Stepbrother Hero: A Forbidden Military Romance by Krista Lakes.
Whenever I go through my reads on Goodreads and this title comes up I'm like "Ohhh!" then I go "Aahhh ... yeah." I wanted to love this book so much cause it's my favorite thing, STEPBROTHER ROMANCE, but it just fell so flat. Ian is the strongest character but he's written horribly and the story is so damn wishy-washy. Ugh.
Instagram - A book that was so beautiful you had to Instagram it.
I Instagram a lot of books!
I actually went through my IG account and I saw a lot of Josh Faraday ... surprising? Nope! I'm of course talking about the last three books of The Club series by Lauren Rowe ...
The Infatuation, The Revelation,
and The Consummation.
YouTube - A book you wish would be turned into a movie.
The Air He Breathes by Brittainy Cherry
I could see Henry Cavill playing Tristan! Ohh, how nice that would be! As much as I love this book, everyone who has read it mentions how at the 70% mark it kinda flat lines and then just sort of ends. I think a movie could help with that A LOT.
Goodreads - A book you recommend to everyone.
The Heroin Diaries by Nikki Sixx.
This book is life changing! It doesn't matter if you have never done drugs or abused alcohol .. you can apply the lesson in this book to EVERYTHING in life. It's just so good! You see someone who has the world by the ass and is so caught in their own demons that they are slowly dying and throwing it all away.
Skype - A book with characters that you wish you could talk to instead of just reading about.
THE CLUB SERIES BY LAUREN ROWE: How I wish I could know Jonas, Sarah, Josh, and Kat ... Henn and his girlfriend too! I just love them to pieces!!!
There you have it, my social media book tag! Hope you enjoyed! Maybe you even found a couple books to add to your TBR. Feel free to do this on your own blog!
This is a super fun tag even if you're not a T. Swift fan so let's get started!
(pick a book or series that you were pretty sure you were in love with, but then wanted to break up with)
The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare - I know, big surprise! It got to the point by book 5 I just couldn't do it anymore. I would even put the book away for awhile and go back but nope couldn't do it. I have City of Heavenly Fire but I didn't even crack it open. I ended up reading what happens online. I know life isn't all rainbows and butterflies but dear god, give a character a break once and awhile. Once things seemed to go good it got worse. I'm fine with books not having a happily-ever-after ending but you can only put characters and your readers through so much. Maybe it's my angst against the hatred of the film (which as we all know I f--king loved!) but yeah, if I could erase a series from my mind it would be The Mortal Instruments.
The Pucked Series by Helena Hunting
Emergency Room by Caroline B. Cooney - I got this book at (the best thing ever) a Scholastic book fair! I actually just put it on my Kindle to read. My friends and I were obsessed with this book!
My New Step-Dad by Alexa Riley - The girls at Alexa Riley have so many amazing forbidden love stories but this one is my favorite. I'm not the biggest "daddy" fan and I really liked that this book didn't venture into that too much. It was just pure lust and passion about two people who know they shouldn't fall in love. So hot!
Aro from the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. Aro was always up for conversation and hearing all sides but it usually always came at a price. He was so threatened by Carlisle and everything he was able to achieve that he went to any length to take him down.
At first I couldn't think of anything but then it hit me ... Allegiant by Veronica Roth.
She completely ruins the ending by having the third book told from both Tris and Four's point-of-view. Like duh, that doesn't give things away!
I couldn't pick just one but I was able to narrow it down to three.
Tristan Cole from The Air He Breathes, Jonas Faraday from The Club series, and Miles Archer from Ugly Love.
They are all characters who were so profoundly set in their ways but over the course of the book/series go through so much that it changes them. They all keep their core value of who they are at heart though - they just learn to explore that scary-love side of their lives.
Cleat Chaser by Sloane Howell and Celia Aaron. I have an ARC of this that I'm currently reading and myyyyy ohhh my!!!
Pucked Forever by Helena Hunting - More of Alex and Violet??? Yes, please!
Dirty by Kylie Scott - I saw the cover for that book months ago and it's finally coming out next month.
Promise by Dani Wyatt - That just looks spectacular!
Vikki Raven has been heating up my Kindle a lot lately ... she may or may not be venturing into full romance novels ... verrrryyyy exciting!
And of course anything by Alexa Riley! When I know the girl's are writing something new I basically start to salivate.
Christian and Ana from Fifty Shades will always have a special place in my heart since they are my first romance read.
HOWEVER, Jonas and Sarah from The Club series are without a doubt my absolute favorite couple. I adore them!!! I wish they were real ... like legit want to know them in my daily to day life real.
Single book wise: The Air He Breathes by Brittainy Cherry, Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover, PS. You're Mine by Alexa Riley.
Series wise: The Club by Lauren Rowe
Theses are books that causes legit tears down my face ...
The first two books of the Filthy Beautiful Love series by Kendell Ryan ... oh, my god, I didn'te even know the tears started until they hit my tablet. Just wow, so emotional.
The Air He Breathes by Brittainy Cherry .... I can't even, that book.
At some point, each book of The Club Series by Lauren Rowe had me tearing up or tears coming down my face.
That's something I do with almost all the books I read! I get all kinds of comments from people when they find out I read mostly romance novels, or that I'm a huge Twilight fan, etc. I couldn't careless what people think about what I read! Reading, no matter what it may be, is something that everyone should do! It's a great way to expand your mind, escape from daily life, and enjoy something you'll probably never do in real life.
