Disclaimer: This is one of my biggest fan girl posts ever ... well until I do one about Henry Cavill ... but yeah, I apologize now.
Today's #bookboyfriend is the majestic Brock O'Hurn!
You may have seen him all over the internet as the real Thor, Mr. Man Bun, or just because he's so nice on the eyes ....
Brock O'Hurn is a 6'7" personal trainer/entrepreneur from California. He's only 24 years old and already taking the world by storm. With nearly 1.7 million followers on Instagram, a YouTube channel with one video that has 15k followers ... Brock is a classic example of being an internet sensation
Under all those muscles, height, long hair, and piercing blue eyes is a truly amazing human being.
Another reason I freakin adore this guy is because he's so interactive with his fans. I've had the pleasure of knowing this first hand, something we'll get to in a minute.
Let's look at those muscles for a moment .... and his V .... my God is it nice ...
I know, right? Okay, enough of just taking this guy in for the visuals ... there's an extremely humble, kind, beautiful soul under that is more important than the looks.
Back in November of 2014 Brock posted an Instagram video putting his long blonde hair into a 'man bun.' PEOPLE WENT CRAZY! He became an internet sensation practically overnight.
Brock O'Hurn is a personal trainer from California. He's the second oldest in the family of five, raised by his mom Paige. When he was 16 he was sick of hearing how skinny he was so he decided to hit up the gym. He bulked up and well, the rest is history as they say.
"I won't let you pay on a date. And like when we're walking down the sidewalk, you're on the inside no matter what. That's just how I am. It's embedded in me." Brock said during an interview on Buzzfeed. Brock is that guy that any mom would be proud to have her daughter dating. He's a sweet, humble, Dear John Channing Tatum but looks more like the Magic Mike Channing Tatum.
You won't find numerous women hanging on Brock's arm, drunken photos, or crazy partying on any of Brock's social media. Instead you'll find photos of his mom, sister, nephew, friends, and selfies with positive inspiring messages.
In 2014 Brock started a jewelry company called Ebb & Flo. All handmade in it's downtown LA office. The pieces are very unique and simple but they stand out and have an edge to them. It's designer jewelry without the crazy designer jewelry price tag ... plus you can't beat that it's made in USA!
Speaking of Ebb & Flo ... to celebrate hitting 10k followers on Instagram they held a give away. One guy and girl were randomly chosen by reposting & tagging the photo they posted to win a bracelet. I WAS THE LUCKY GIRL WHO WON!! I was so excited! I had looked at their jewelry from weeks prior but couldn't decide on what to get. When I got my bracelet I posted about it on my personal IG account ...
How awesome?! As you can see, in that top photo, Brock was the first to comment! So sweet of him! I LOVED that bracelet and knew I would order more pieces. A couple weeks ago Brock said that if you ordered from Ebb & Flo, emailed your order number to him, you would receive a personalized note and photo with your piece. Clearly I took advantage of that special since I was going to order something anyway. I got this awesome bracelet with a handwritten note and Polaroid from Brock! He also liked my IG post and Ebb & Flo commented on it as well!
I know that's just like a little thing but let's be honest, how many other celebrities do that? Far and few between ...
GQ published their current GQ Body issue this past February and inside is a page with Brock! There's also a longer write up and video with him that you can find on the GQ website and YouTube.
While running errands on my lunch break, I grabbed two copies of the GQ with Brock (one to keep and one to tear out the page) and posted it to IG. A couple hours later I checked my phone and there was a THANK YOU comment from Brock!! Dude, I mean really this guy is so incredible!
Then last Sunday night when I couldn't sleep I decided to do a #MCM on IG. I don't always post them (since it would be a rotation of Henry Cavill, Brock O'Hurn, and Sidney Crosby all the time) but I decided to post one with Brock as my #MCM. I made my little post and went to bed. When my alarm went off I do like everyone does and surf social media a bit before hitting the shower. I go to my IG app and there's TWO comments from Brock!! I mean if my Monday morning wasn't made ... it was so unexpected!
I mean really, how can you not love this guy?! Even if I never had those interactions with him, I'd still be a huge fan! Like he literally just makes life better by being in it.
Taking it back to the whole #BookBoyfriend thing for a minute ... as you all know, I'm writing my own book. Do I think it'll ever see the light of day? Maybe? But it's fun to write. The main character is based off Brock, from his personality down to his looks. I also pictured Brock as Alex Waters from the Pucked series by Helena Hunting. (even though Alex doesn't have long hair, his physical makeup is Brock to a tee!) I think more authors needs to get on-board and use Brock as their alpha muse!
As I mentioned above (and in my #MCM IG post) it's hard to find a real person in life at all anymore ... doesn't matter if it's a clerk at a store or celebrity ... it's something that is just not found all that often. But here's Brock, growing more famous by the minute and he takes the time to stay in touch with his fans, the people that got him to where he is today. I'm positive Brock could do this all on his own but his millions of followers helped him get there a bit faster and he isn't about to let them be forgotten.

Thanks for reading my fangirl post about Brock! I just can't get enough of the guy! I hope to meet him in person someday just to thank him for putting a smile on my face so many times :)
Today's #bookboyfriend post will be about that lovely specimen, Nick Bateman.
Okay, put your eyes back in your head so you can read the rest of this post ...
I stumbled across Nick Bateman on Instagram awhile back and have mentally
placed him in many books since then.
I first pictured him as Josh Faraday in The Club Series by Lauren Rowe. His friend in the photo, Joseph Cannata I envisioned as Jonas Faraday. I have since showed this picture to Lauren Rowe and she even agreed this photo is almost scary perfect as Jonas & Josh.
Then I read Priest by Sierra Simone and he immediately became the sexy Father Bell.
I mentioned Nick before in my review of Ugly Love ... he's probably the first ever fan-casted #bookboyfriend to appear in the movie of the book he's visioned to be ... aka Miles Archer in Ugly Love. How did that happen? Thanks to Nick's massive presence on social media, fans of the book keep tweeting and hashtagging him as #MilesArcher. After awhile Nick looked up who Miles Archer was and found it was the character in a book. He admits he's not a reader but he read Ugly Love in 3 days and decided to give Colleen Hoover a call and see about making the movie a reality.
Check out this interview Nick did about Ugly Love ...
So who is Nick Bateman?
Born on November 18, 1986 in Burlington, Canada, Nick grew up wanting to be a Ninja Turtle so he started doing marital arts. After over 10 years of training he won his first world title. At the competition where Nick won his world title, ESPN International was holding an event called “The Best of the Best.” There was also an event for Model Universe and even though Nick wasn't 18 yet, he ended up going and meeting Clavin Klein. He ended up going back home to Canada and his first job was for Abercrombie & Fitch where he appeared on their shopping bags for about two years.
Something I love about Nick is how passionate and real he is, which is hard to find in anyone, let alone someone in Hollywood. In an interview with The Daily Front Role, Nick was asked if he considers himself a model or actor. He replied with who his favorite role model is and why ... "This sounds so cheesy, but one of my idols is Forrest Gump. As weird as that sounds, he’s one of those people where he was ignorant and full of bliss. He wanted to do something, he did it, and he did it good. He put his heart into it, and that’s the type of person I am." (FULL ARTICLE)
I love people with passion and heart, two things Nick Bateman oozes. He also remembers his friends ... he's all about getting the people close to him in life noticed too. (He did a calendar with his model friends and hopes to make movies with them too) He's also very appreciative of his fans and still feels honored when people come up to him. He's just an overall good guy ... not too many of those in the world!
We can't forget to mention Joey Bateman, Nick's adorable little dog and sidekick!
Oh, and sure, we can address or undress the elephant in the room ...
Nick is very, very pleasing on the eyes too.
As Tate states about Miles in Ugly Love ...
"his shirt isn't buttoned. I'm staring at his stomach.
Oh my word he has the V. Those beautiful indentations on men that run the length of their outer abdominal muscles, disappearing beneath their jeans as if the indentations are pointing to a secret bull's-eye."
It's like Nick was born to be Miles Archer.
Below I will post all of Nick's social media account so you can follow if you want! Be sure to follow his dog Joey Bateman on Instagram too! I'm also posting the Ugly Love teaser trailer video below too! There's a ton of interviews with Nick on YouTube as well, just search his name and you'll find them. He's such a sweet, down-to-earth, real guy ... there's not a lot you can't love about him!

You may recognize Levi from various book covers, most recently he appeared
on the cover of Thief by Alexa Riley.
I know, right?! The tattoos, beard, devilish stare ...
I could have sworn I put panties on today but they seemed to melt away.
Levi Stocke is a model (LA Models - D1 Models) from Florida who located to California to pursue music. He never thought about modeling until he was approached at a local grocery store by a scouting agent and he thought why not?! Since then Levi has been in Sprint commercial and ads for Levi's.
Levi runs his own website, Rebel Ritual with a blog that covers everything from his clay pomade (to help tame your beard) to modeling and music!
Thanks to social media, you can follow Levi throughout his daily adventures. If you have Snapchat be sure to add him to your friends list, levistocke . Sure he's got a great body, the cutest pug dog, a sexy beard and look but he's a truly good human too. Not that I want to take away from his badass status but there's a real sweetheart under all those tattoos.
Below are links to find Levi on social media and the web!
Starting a new category on my blog #BookBoyfriends.
What is a "book boyfriend" you ask? It's the mental image we create from the description of a character in a book. Thankfully social media puts us in touch with a lot of good looking models, actors, etc. and they are essentially transformed into #bookboyfriend visuals.
I follow a lot of these #bookboyfriends on social media. I'll retweet or post on FB their photos which causes my friends to always ask, "Who's that?!?!" or "Where can I follow him at??"
So here you go, my favorite #bookboyfriends!
PS. I'm not being asked or sponsored by any of them ... I'm just passing on some serious eye candy and fun people!
As you can tell from the header on this post, the first #bookboyfriend is Jordan W. Clark. I'll be honest, I don't remember how I started following him. I think I saw someone post a picture of him on IG and was like "hello blue eyes!"
Jordan's got more going for him than his pretty eyes, he's talented, funny, genuine, likes to give advice, he sings, and does impressions. He likes to go on Snapchat rants but he'll usually warn you before he starts. LOL You can follow him on Snapchat, just add jordanwclark, to your friends list.
Overall he's just a good guy and
super awesome to his followers/fans.
Below I'll link all of his social media.
Be sure to give him a follow!
