About two weeks ago I entered an Instagram contest to win a bracelet from Ebb & Flow Jewelry. It was in celebration of reached 10,000 follower; they asked to like, repost/share the photo and they would pick a girl & guy to win. I was the lucky girl who won! I was so excited! I had been looking at Ebb & Flows website for a few weeks now deciding what to purchase first. Oddly enough, the bracelet I ended up winning was one of the ones I planned to get.
Ebb & Flow was founded by Brock O'Hurn and Morten Thorup who are also creative directors. Brock as you may know if you follow me on social media, is one of my favorite male models. He's so inspirational, down-to-earth, and yes, HOT.
Yesterday, after a very long day, I came home to find my Ebb & Flow bracelet waiting for me in the mail! It's the Double Brass Bead bracelet in grey. I absolutely LOVE it! I'm all about two-tone jewelry and I LOVE draw string bracelets. The quality is so amazing! It's so nicely made and constructed. Very durable but delicate, very simple but badass too. It's just the perfect mix! Needless to say once I saw this I now know I'll be a regular customer.
I posted a picture on Instagram about getting it and how much I loved it. I tagged Ebb & Flow's account as well as Brock's account in the photo. Later in the night I checked my IG account and I had TWO notifications from Brock!!!! Not only did he like my photo he commented, "So happy you like it! We put everything in to our pieces! You just made my day (:"
I mean, HOW COOL IS THAT?! If you follow Brock on social media you'll see he's currently in the mountains skiing, relaxing, and enjoying life ... yet he took the time to connect with a fan. That's just so awesome! I LOVE when celebrities (no matter the status) take time to connect! It totally made my day!! Ahh, so awesome!
I'm in no way being sponsored or asked to make this post. I just had to give the love back to this company and Brock. I can't wait to purchases more pieces from Ebb & Flow and see where this awesome jewelry line grows!
LipKitbyKylie are all currently sold out - they are working tirelessly to fulfill each order.
Description from the website:
Contains: 1 Matte Liquid Lipstick (0.11 fl oz./oz. liq / 3.25 ml) and 1 Pencil Lip Liner (net wt./ poids net .03 oz/ 1.0g)
Each Lip Kit is applied with one swipe color that glides across lips and dries down to a powdery-soft, matte finish. Homogenous color in natural nudes and deep browns give unparalleled comfort and wear. The oil free formula has 25% pigment which provides instant color. The perfect blend of waxes, silicone and polymers give you smooth and easy glide color, with long-wearing properties.
When these first launched on November 30th, I was lucky to grab the two colors I wanted of Candy K and True Brown K. I must say, I'm impressed! The packaging is very simplistic and chic. I didn't know what to expect since I'm not the biggest lipgloss fan and knew these wouldn't be along the lines of Jeffree Star's velour liquid lipsticks. Each kit comes with a liner and matte liquid lipstick. The pencil is cream form which is so much easier to apply and use! The matte lipstick is very nice, a little goes a long way! There is a bit of a sticky nature to the matte lipstick but not in the sense of having your hair stick to your lips. I've been wearing these through many cups of tea, water, eating, etc. and they haven't budged! A lot of people were complaining about the price but I think it's more than reasonable. I'm super impressed and will purchasing these again once I run out.
I truly enjoyed this book! Two of my favorite things: the taboo step brother romance and Christmas!
This short story tells the tale of Niles and Anna who come together after years apart to celebrate the holidays with their parents. Niles was terrible to Anna when they were younger causing her years of pain. Now that he is an adult and realizes what he did to her, and that he's in love with her, he's determined to make amends. Anna physically feels ill whenever she sees Niles but she notices there's life and light behind his eyes that wasn't there before. She's willing to see where things will go and accept his "I'm sorry" which takes her to the ultimate fantasy.
This was one of those short stories that I didn't want to see end! I loved Niles' character, he's your hot, British, sophisticated guy with a naughty side. Anna is a strong character that won't be easily won over but she's not stubborn or weak.
I'd love to see another book come out to hear where Niles and Anna end up!
Hi, my name is Heather, I've been addicted to Alexa Riley's books for about 3 months now, this is my first meeting ...
I read this book about a month and a half ago but just read it again ... obviously meaning this book is very good! I can't believe I didn't post a review ... so here we go ...
Alexa brings us the story of Chris, a former NFL player, who was forced to retire due to bad knees. His good friend & physical therapist, Phil, told him about their local high school needing a new football coach. Chris interviewed for the job and got it immediately. While his house is being built, Phil invites Chris to live with him and his wife. At the end of the summer their daughter, Megan is due home from camp and they are waiting to throw her an 18th birthday party. While Phil is making steaks on the grill Chris goes inside and runs into a long-haired very beautiful girl. They fall down and when he locks eyes with her he immediately feels a pull towards her. After getting them up Chris asks for her number and says about rejoining the party and waiting for Megan. The girl laughs and goes outside to be greeted by her Dad, Phil. Completely dumb struck on finding out this beautiful woman he crashed into is Megan, Chris starts to try and forget their encounter. Throughout the day he finds Megan looking back and lingering. That night Megan comes into his room, pretty much forces herself onto him, Chris reluctantly gives in knowing this is more than a casual fling. Now that school is back in session, Chris has to sit back and watch his star player, Croy, flirt with Megan. Chris moves out and one afternoon while him and Megan are enjoying themselves a mysterious woman comes in sending Megan into a whirlwind as she claims to be with Chris.
I didn't think I would be into the breeding series but I'm freakin hooked! They are so kinky, taboo, and yes, far fetched but hell, it's a romance novel ... isn't that the point? This is a super quick read, great if you're in between books or looking for something to read in the bath tub! Love, love, love this book!
Your Wednesday is about to get a whole lot better if you're a DC fan!
Here are the just released 3 NEW promo posters of Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Ben Affleck as Batman were released to promote Batman vs. Superman Dawn of Justice!
I first saw the new Superman poster when Henry posted it on his IG account this morning ...
So very, very fierce!!! Ahh, I can't wait! Is it March yet?!
Pucked is the first book in this 3 book series and focuses on Alex Waters and Violet Hall. Violet's stepbrother is in the NHL so she's well acquainted with the hockey player bad boy lifestyle. She isn't expecting to fall for her stepbrother's teammate, the captain, Alex Waters. After a night of 'tongue fucking' Violet & Alex slowly start to realize they can't get enough of each other. Violet knows of Alex's extremely bad boy status and doesn't want to be his latest puckbunny. Alex's manager only sees dollar signs when it comes to him and while trying to get Alex to be bachelor of the year, he sets him up to damage Violet in a way that might be irreversible.
Pucked ... where to begin?! I love, love, loved this book! I'm freakin obsessed with it! Helena knows how to write about erotic hockey romances! Which as you all know are two of my favorite things!
My all-time favorite hockey romance novel is One More Shot by Victoria Denault but Pucked is definitely the runner up .... might even be a tie. Pucked uses real hockey teams, not full out saying the team but for example, Alex plays for the Chicago Hawks AKA The Chicago Blackhawks ... so that was fun picturing it with a real team. The hockey lingo is spot on and the use of puckbunnies was hysterical! (If you don't know what a puckbunny is it's the hockey world's version of a groupie.) Alex's character, to me, I pictured as Brock O'Hurn but with shorter hair. Violet, well I pictured myself. HAHA! We have the same colored hair, personality, and so much more in common! This is an erotic, tantalizing, funny at times, heart warming tale.
The series has two more books, Pucked Up focuses on Violet's stepbrother, Miller “Buck” Butterson and Pucked Over focuses on Randy Ballistic.
Helena gave us a little Christmas treat by writing a Christmas outtake of Alex & Violet!
